One of the fresh faces around the CRT table, Hanaa brings over 20 years of experience in global treasury management, advisory sales, business development and relationship management to her role as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Pacific Premier’s La Jolla office.
Prior to joining the bank, she was a Global Treasury Management Advisor at Bank of America for almost nine years, where she was responsible for managing a complex client portfolio.
A Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Hanaa began her education at the University of Alexandria, in Alexandria, Egypt. Hanaa’s fluent in Arabic and English, has studied Spanish French and Russian, and brings a flair to every assignment that’s only achievable with good judgment and a wisdom that derives from open-mindedness.
Having earned her US Citizenship in 2002, Hanaa adds to her ability to relate to so many cultures an impressive knowledge base, unimpeachable credentials in the world of international finance, an innate trustworthiness, and an infectious enthusiasm.
Hanaa specializes in delivering financing and cash flow optimization solutions to companies in the $5-250 million range. Hanaa has helped many CEOs and CFOs overcome challenges in their processes or impediments around their cash cycle while mitigating risks. She has developed a process of holistically examining all aspects of her clients’ businesses. “Seeing them through to the other side never fails to leave me with the deepest satisfaction,” she says, adding “Their problems are my problems…I won’t rest until we troubleshoot them.”

In addition to her professional credentials, Hanaa is very active in the San Diego community, with a particular focus on the La Jolla Playhouse. She recently also became involved in the Fleet Science Center’s STEM Ecosystem Initiative, a program that brings executives in education, science and business sectors together to give students greater access to opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math.
“I’m really passionate about helping kids to have those opportunities,” she says.
